Denison Witmer "Carry the Weight" LP

Carry the Weight, the newest (and seventh) album from Philadelphia, PA based singer-songwriter Denison Witmer, nods toward the '70s singer-songwriters (such as Jackson Browne, Carole King, and Leonard Cohen) that have long served as Witmer's inspiration. On Carry the Weight, Witmer captures the honesty and serene, poignant tone crafted by these earlier songwriters, transforming it into something entirely personal and entirely his own.
